Walker Learning @ EPS

At Eastlakes Public School, we proudly implement the Walker Learning approach in our Kindy classrooms. This evidence-based pedagogy places the child at the centre of learning, fostering independence, curiosity and a strong sense of belonging. Through carefully designed learning environments, personalised investigations and intentional teaching, students develop essential skills in literacy, numeracy, problem-solving and social development.

Our teachers use rich, play-based experiences to build on each child’s strengths, interests and stage of development. Daily Investigations allow students to explore, create and collaborate, while Focus Children, Reporters and Photographers take on leadership roles that promote confidence and communication.
