Welcome from our principal
Eastlakes Public School, proudly nurtures a vibrant and inclusive learning community. Sitting on Gadigal and Kameygal land, in southeast Sydney, our school is a place where students from diverse cultural backgrounds come together to thrive in a safe, supportive, and dynamic environment.
Students are at the centre of all decision making and we know that every child can learn and they learn at different rates and in different ways. We deliver the full breadth of the NSW curriculum, ensuring students engage in comprehensive, and challenging learning programs.
At the heart of our philosophy is a commitment to excellence and equity. We strive to ensure every student has access to the opportunities they need to achieve their goals.
We prioritise student wellbeing, recognising its critical role in academic and personal achievement. Our programs foster resilience, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
Our team of highly skilled, and passionate educators is committed to continually updating and extending their pedagogical knowledge and practice through high impact professional learning. Through their expertise, care, and dedication, they foster a love of learning and empower students to achieve their personal best academically, socially, and emotionally.
Eastlakes Public School is committed to promoting diverse student achievement through key learning areas, student leadership programs, PSSA sport, authentic ICT integration, public speaking, visual arts, extracurricular dance and physical education programs. Our school boasts large grounds, playing fields, and spaces that support both academic learning and physical activity.
Our school expectations of ‘Respectful, Responsible Learners’ guide every aspect of our community. These expectations shape a culture of respect and accountability, ensuring a positive and productive school environment.
We are fortunate to have strong partnerships with our parents and carers, local organisations, and businesses, who work collaboratively with us to enrich our school programs and support student success.
